Your first hour

  • 9:30 AM — optional

Small groups, if you want them

Come at 9:30 for a small group, or skip it entirely and come at 10:30. Plenty of people do one or the other.

  • 10:15 AM

    Donuts and coffee

Park anywhere in the lot — there's no reserved-for-members thing. Come in, grab a donut and a cup of coffee, and someone will point you wherever you need to go. This is the easiest fifteen minutes to show up for.

  • 10:30 AM

We sing — kids and all

Fifteen or twenty minutes of music, with the kids right there in the room with you. Sing loud, hum along, or just stand there — all three are normal.

  • Just after the music

We celebrate the kids, then send them out

Kids come up front and we make a fuss over them before they head to Adventure Kids. It's the loudest, best two minutes of the morning.

  • Around 10:50

    One passage, unpacked

A message from a single passage of Scripture, usually with a story attached, always with something you can actually do this week.

  • A little after 11:30

    Prayer, and then coffee

We pray, and we're done a little over an hour after we started. Coffee for anyone who wants to stick around. Nobody will corner you.

Kids

Your kids are welcome — loudly.

We keep kids in the room with us for the singing. Then we bring them up front, celebrate them in front of everybody, and send them out to their own space. Nobody's hustled off to a back hallway before the service starts.

  • Adventure Kids — kindergarten through 6th grade
  • Little Friends — nursery for the youngest ones
  • Wednesdays at 6 PM — kids have their own thing alongside youth and adults

And if you'd rather keep them with you the whole time, that's fine too. We're not bothered by noise.

NEO Students

We're right across the street.

College meets Thursdays at 8 PM, and there is always food. Walk over, bring a roommate, show up late if you have to. Some weeks we're at someone's house instead — if you need a ride, we'll come get you.

Andy & Jordan Harrison run it. Easiest way to find out where we are this week is Instagram.

Questions people actually ask

I haven't been to church in years. Is that weird?

Not even a little. A good number of us were in exactly that spot. You can come, sit, listen, and leave — no one will put you on a list.

Will I have to stand up or introduce myself?

No. We won't single you out, ask you to raise your hand, or make you wear a visitor sticker.

Is there an offering, and am I expected to give?

There's an offering, and no — guests aren't expected to give anything. Giving here is a response, never a cover charge.

What does "Friends" or "Quaker" mean?

It's our denomination. Short version: we believe God speaks directly to ordinary people. Longer version is on the About page.

What if I don't believe what you believe?

Come anyway. Honest questions are welcome here, and doubt isn't a disqualification.

Is the building accessible?

[TK — parking, ramps, restrooms, hearing assistance]

Tell us you're coming

Totally optional — but if you let us know, we'll watch for you and make sure you're not standing in a hallway wondering where to go.
